We did it.

Life has been kinda crazy and we have not been able to get pictures up loaded. With that being said we have had a lot of fun exploring the parks again. We have really enjoyed playing and the nice weather that we have had. Sad thing was yesterday it started to snow again. Can't complain as we really need some moisture but will miss the sun for the next few days. As a mom of 4 very unique kids life can be more than a roller coaster. Add on top house shopping and my calling I have had more than enough to keep me busy. Yes Jim and I bit the big ticket and just yesterday put an offer in on the house listed before. We feel that this house can do so much for our family. It's location has a lot to offer with a a park across the street that even has a basketball hoop. We took the kids last night to see it and they went crazy. We are really praying that our offer is accepted and that we can close on it by the middle of April. Today I am stepping into the party world the about 15 10 year olds as we are having Miles' 10th party. He can not wait. He does not turn 10 until Tuesday but this was the best weekend for his party. Then Saturday I have my big Relief Society Forgotten Arts. It should be fun. I really hope a lot of sisters show up for it. It is an all day thing with homemade Jam, bread classes lunch and crafts. By Sunday I am sure I will be ready for a nap. So now that you are all caught up on what is going on in our little part of this world, Maybe next time we can have some pictures of parties and more. Praying for all of you. take it easy.

To buy or not to buy.

http://p.rdcpix.com/v01/lb4236042-m8o.jpg After the sale and then the not sale of our trailer Jim and I took a winter break from house hunting. But with the spring upon us and a $6500 take break speaking we thought that we might want to go and check out some houses and see if we can find one and move in before Mylee comes. Living in a small town there are houses for sale just not as many as a big town. Then if you take out the house's on by the trains or on busy streets we had 4 houses left to look at. So we thought. We had big hopes for a house on Clearview Dr. Boy were we wrong about it. It was not even show-able. But our agent took us to see this house. It is a little above what we were wanting to look at but she thought that we might like it and with the size and being a foreclosure we might be able to low, low ball it and get a great house worth a pretty penny for a better than good price. So now we are sitting here with our pro's and con's list trying to decide what to do next. Let me tell you a little about this house. It was built in 1980. It is 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, front room, living room, and basement family room. It has 4512 sq feet. On our Pros. Lots of storage, large Master bedroom with walk in closet, Large kitchen and wonderful washroom, craft room and large storage room with shelving. not too big of a yard to worry about watering but a garden lot and room for the pool. Park with basketball hoop across the street. Central vacuum and lots of parking. Cons. Layout. Only 2 bedrooms on main floor, extra kitchen in the basement plus it has 4 fireplaces one of which is in a bedroom for the kids. Not in our prime neighborhood. Over all it is a nice brick house with lots to offer. In great shape and does not have any pet stink or waste. What do you think. Here is a link to it. http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/510-Hutton-Circle_Green-River_WY_82935_1113596852#

Family Blessings

For Family Home Evening tonight we talked about the blessing of living in a large family. Sometimes you feel like the world is against you when you have more than the typical American 2 or the Mormon 4. As your kids grow up and they feel like the "Jones" Have the newest and the latest electronic or have just came back from a great Trip. But the blessing that they have from being n a large family. They always have a friend. Life is never boring, They know how to share at an early age, They have a buddy when no one else is there for them. Plus much much more. Some times it is hard to see the blessing of a family but the rewards are there and your family is all that you can bring with you to the hear after. So even if they run around in Last seasons fashion or don't have a WII in their house, or even and I-pod around their neck. But they are all winners in our book. I am so blessed to have such wonderful kids. Also to help the kids see how long it is until little Mylee joins our family we make a count down chain. They could not believe how long it was. We have 90 days from my first due date. We are sure that things could change and that she will normally come earlier but you have to start some were. The are excited to pull a chain every night. We love our large and blessed family. We would not have it any other way.

Just another day in Paradise.

As many people know, Friday nights in the our house is Pizza and Movie night. So as I was cleaning up the pizza and trying to get the kids to get PJ's on and clean up a little before we start the movie. This is what happens when you ask a wild 7 year old to go clean up gold fish spilled on your bedroom floor.
Staples. Oh the Joys. Of course he can not do it durning the day time when the local clinic in our small town is open. But at 7 pm when we have to drive to Rock Springs to get it taken care off. Nights like tonight make me miss Lubbock a little more. As I miss the inst a care clinics and the short drive. Papa and Nana met us there and luck for us there was no one waiting so we were in and out really fast. Can't wait to see the bill. As I was driving home the song "Just another day in Paradise " came on. Suits today to the "T". This is not his first big boo boo or do I think it will be his last. But this is the first one that he has done primarily by himself. He is winning the race in our house to the most big boo boos. With a set of stitches, a broken wrist and now staples.

Final Good- bye to Cinder

We found out Friday night that Nana and Papa's beloved Sinder was lossing her battle with her back leg. They had decided that it was time to help her feel no more pain and let her run with Shena in Heaven. Yes we believe that all loved dogs go to heaven.
How do you tell your kids that a dog they have grown to love and seen almost weekly for last 2 years was going to die?
Some like Mason are hard to read. With Mason's disabilities I new he would just go with it.
Marcus is our tough guy so he was going to be OK.
On the other hand Miles who is a little older and has a better understanding was not going to do as well. We broke the news to the kids on the way home from getting a family treat (99 cent rootbeer floats). Sweets always make it a little easier to handle bad news. Cinder was really special to Madison. As when we moved back to Wyoming Madison was just a little 2 year old and Cinder would not jump on her and knock her over. I was not prepared at how hard our little 4 year old was going to take the passing of her Cinder. Madison Prayed and prayed all the way home from Arctic Circle that Sinder would not die. When we went to go inside she fell to her knees in tears out side our home. Begging thatCinder would not go. As a mom this tears at all your heart strings. Unable to talk Madison sat in my arms sobbing at the realization that Cinder was going to die. Knowing that it was going to be a hard day for Nana and Papa Hungerford we decided that we needed to go and help in any way we could and let the kids say good-bye to a dog that was more than family.
We know that Nana and Papa's hearts are filled with sadness at the loss of a kid (I mean dog). Cinder was there for my mom threw all her seizures and troubles. May the memory of her live on in our hearts for ever. May Goldie understand why her best friend is gone. Our hearts and prayers go out to my parents at this time of loss.

We found some snow . . . Sleding at Grandma's

After a fun school Valentine's parties we loaded all the kids up on Thursday and took a trip to find some snow. We found it in Star Valley Utah. It is always fun to go to Star Valley and see Jim's family there. We are very grateful to Jim's mom who was willing to watch all 4 kids why we went to Idaho Falls to go to the temple on Friday. It was a wonderful day except for the white out snow on the way to the temple. I wish we could go more often. On Saturday we took the kids out to play in all the snow. It was the perfect weather. Around 30 out side and sunny. the snow was starting to melt which made it harder to climb the hills but the kids were determined.
My crazy Husband. Jim thought it would be fun to jump and roll down the hill. This is how he turnned out at the end. When asked if he wanted to do it again. He said "No Way" I think he must be getting old.
Madison really loved the snow. Some of the kids did not mind getting a full face of snow at the end of a ride, Like Madison and Marcus ended up with most of the time. Marcus after getting a full face of snow. He was already up the hill again by the time he brushed his face off.
"Help, I don't want to go"
Mason was one of the first kids up the hill but did not really want to ride a sled down. So after he had hung out there for sometime Jim decieded that he needed to go down. So we was loaded up on a tube and sent down the hill. To bad he jumped the second bump that was meant to stop the kids at the end. He ended up with a the air being knocked out of him and a few bruises on his back side. Poor Kid. We all felt bad for him as he really did not want to go.
After about 10 minutes he had shaken it off and was ready to play with the sled motorcycle going down the small bump over and over again why the other kids played on the big hill.
What do you think is going to happen? Miles is on the green sled as 2 of his cousins are on the other sled. You are probably right. They crashed mid hill. Miles was also the only other kid to jump the small bump at the end and end up with a bruise or 2. Mason is at the top of the hill cheering them on. This was before his scary ride down.
After playing at the snow hill for a few hours and warming up at Grandma's we went over to Jace's birthday party and the kids darned their snow gear to be pulled behind the 4-wheeler on sleds. They all had a bast. There was 10 kids in all being pulled. All in all it was a wonderful weekend in the snow. The kids had fun and mom and dad were able to go to the temple.

Valentines 2010

Happy Valentine's Day 2010
Better late than never. Life has been kinda busy so I have not been on as much. The kids had a great Valentines party at their schools on Thursday, February 11th. I really enjoy going to all the kids parties and seeing what they do. I was unable to go to all their Christmas Parties as I was in charge of Mason's Class Party. This time around my goal was to hit all 3 parties in 45 minutes. I was only able to stay for 15 minutes at each place but I feel like the kids were happy to see Madison and mom there. I will not be able to attend their end of the year parties (one of my favorite one as little Mylee will be here about the same time). In the picture above Marcus was asked a simple math question and if he got the answer right he would get a squirt of cool whip in his mouth.
Marcus's class also had ice cream sundee's and exchanges some Valentines why I was there.
When I made it to Miles' class they were playing musical ball were if you got stuck with the ball you had to answer a silly question Like sing a simple song or hop around the circle. Very entertaining. The kids were all laughing so hard. Then their class was joined by another 4th grade class and had ice cream sundae's. Have to love Miles' alien space ship that is holding his valentines.
Madison and I made it to Mason's class first almost before the party started. They were still finishing up the 100th day of school fun. But we were able to be there and watch all these 5 year olds try to pass out valentines for the first time. How confusing. Madison loves attending her brother's parties. She had just had her own Valentine party at pre-school. After we left Mason was able to play bingo and frost sugar cookies. All in all school Valentines parties were a success. The kids had a blast and way to much sugar.
