Happy, Happy Birthday Mason
With Spring in the AIR, we tend to have quite a few birthday Month by Month. Today just 2 days before his real birthday with daddy off from work we had his friend Party and Family Birthday Party. We had high hopes that we could have a fun party at the park with games and lot of room to run. Well in Wyoming if you plan a party at a park all you get is rain or snow or both like we had today. So we moved his party to McDonald's play-land. 5 of his friend and Nana came to help us celebrate.
I think this picture tell just how he felt about it. He was wired for the whole party.
He scored a fur real dino and a Air Hog popper. This year with earth day just a couple of days ago, elected to use what we had on had to wrap and not waste trees. (plus mom was not in the mood) Mason was happy no matter what.
On Monday we get to bring cupcakes and muffins to his classes at school for his birthday. Right at this minute my house is filled with hot wheels and wrappings from gifts. I would say he his happy and enjoyed every minute of his party and gifts.

Spring, Boots, Earth Day and Kids
On this fun day we played out side and enjoyed this planet. I did on Earth Day did one day with out plastic bags and paper plates. I was so proud of my self. Even when we went on a picnic I used plastic containers no throw away bags. This kids had fun picking up trash and told us about what they learned at school about earth day.

Spring is Finally Here?!?!?!?!?
When you live in Wyoming in the spring you count your blessing when the sun is shinning and the wind is blowing less than 20 mph. Today was one of those days.
What else would you do than have fun at a park, that you can ride your bike to. While Miles had his 3 hour baseball practice we played and then of course went home for dinner. Mom was happy he was practicing at Truman just 1/4 or less of a mile from our home. Here is some fun pictures of our Blessed day in the sun.
I nicked name Marcus the Monkey because he climbs on every thing. Madison thought that she could do it too. Some times mom ended up running as fast as she could to rescue her.

Madison and the Bead
Ask your self What can a Cute girl like this one have in common with
a BEAD???
Do you give up. Sweet Madison is our 4th kid and in all my years off being a mom I have never had this happen to me. After a busy day, Primary Activity and a mistake on baseball practice time (thought it was at 5 but really at 6). I was sitting down hoping all was asleep. Madison keep coming out of her room and wanted to sleep on mom. Finally I gave in and let her on my lap. She was very restless so I passed her off to daddy and went about my business. She came back to me (now it is 9:30)telling me her nose was bugging her. Lately she has been not liking her nose and having me wipe it even if there is nothing there. So I was not to worried. But she keep saying I was not getting it. Finally I gave in and did what a mom does not want to do, I put the nail of my pinkie in her nose. AHHHH there was something there. I was not amused. so I ran to get the tweezers to try to get it out. Placing Madison in her dad's lap under the lamp I proceeded to try to get the blue thing out. I almost gave up (not wanting to push it up any more)I was ready to take her to the ER when I gave it one more try. Wala, out came a blue bed. I could not believe after 3 boys my little girl would be the one to get something stuck up her nose. When she was asked were she got it, as we don't have these kind of beads in our house. She told me tomorrow at the Church. I am guessing and hoping it happened to day at the primary activity and not yesterday at Church. Any way I guess the moral of this story is when you think they are past this stage think again. I think/hope she will never do it again. Shortly after removal she was sleeping sound in her bed. Thank goodness it had a hole in it our I would have never got it out and we would have to go the ER.

A bus,y busy, but fun week!!!
I remember when the kids were young and I could not wait for the day that I did not have to change diapers or get up in the middle of the night to feed a baby. I had thought that I would have more time. Boy was I wrong. This week was the start of Baseball season. Lucky for us we are here in Wyoming so Marcus and Mason are on the same team. With 3 boys playing ball. Each will have 2 games a week. Plus we have scouts and other school activities. This week was the first week of our crazy Baseball season. We also had the joy of having to finish up a Pinewood Derby car for the Pinewood derby and had fun with the Academic fair at Miles and Marcus School. Plus Mason was able to attend Kindergarten Round-up. If I was to talk to a young mom today about what the future holds, I would tell them to saddle up for a busy, crazy but rewarding life ahead.
Academic Fair 09
Every Spring Truman Elementary Puts on a little Academic Fair to show off what the kids have been working on. The Art Teacher hung a piece of Art from each student that will also be in the County Fair. Plus they worked on Projects. Marcus is standing by his art rubbing. if you look close you can see his name. To the right of his head.
Miles, with his Diorama. The each studied an endangered animal and then made a diorama of their living environment. Miles did his on the Bengal Tiger. He also had to right a page report.
Madison and Mason watching the Race. As all can see, by Miles race Mason was a little restless but Madison was sitting well and enjoying the race.

Easter on the road. This last year has been a year of first for our family. First we moved states, spent our first Holiday (Christmas) on the road at Grandma's and now we did our first Easter on the road at Grandma's.
As all can see we spent this wonderful weekend with our "eternal family" What a better way to celebrate Easter. To fill united with our family here and those who have passed on. I am so great-full for my Savior who without him we would not be able to be an Eternal Family. I hope that you all had a great Easter weekend. We look forward to hearing from you all.
